At DF Grinders, we are committed to providing a smooth and hassle-free experience for all our customers. Please review the details of our return, refund and cancellation policies below.
Cancelling Your Order
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dfgrinders.com.au. We aim to help you avoid the shipping costs by canceling your order before it leaves our warehouse. If you have any questions prior to placing an order, don't hesitate to reach out—we're here to help!
Changed Your Mind?
We understand that sometimes you might reconsider your purchase. New, unopened products are eligible for a full refund within 365 days of delivery.

- Any additional details related to your product

After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will send you an email confirmation and process your refund within 1-2 business days. Please note that your payment provider may take additional time to process and post your refund.

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase after opening it, we're here to help - just reach out! We value your feedback and may ask a few questions to better understand any issues you're experiencing. Our goal is to thelp you get the most out of your coffee equipment, and often, minor adjustments can make a big difference.
You can return opened or used items within 60 days of delivery. Please ensure that the items are returned clean and include all manuals, accessories, and original packaging. Items that are dirty or missing parts or packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Once authorised, please send the items to the address we provide. After we receive and inspect your item, you will receive an email confirming receipt. We will then process your return within 1-2 business days. Please note that your payment provider may take additional time to process and post your refund.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We can often provide you with discounted shipping rates and send you a shipping label; the cost will be deducted from your refund. If you arrange your own shipping, we strongly recommend insuring your shipment, as you are responsible for the item until we receive it.
Non-Refundable Items
Please note that the following items are non-refundable:
- Certified open box purchases
- Parts (including burrs)
- Coffee*
- Clearance and final sale items
- Consumables (including grinder cleaner)
*If you received free coffee with your product, its value will be subtracted from your refund amount, as coffee is non-refundable.
Received the Wrong Product & Product Exchanges
In the rare event that you receive the wrong product, we will correct the mistake at no additional cost to you, including return shipping. Please email us at info@dfgrinders.com.au with your order number and details, and we will take care of it promptly.
Warranties & Defects
All our grinders come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. This warranty is valid for home use only. Please note that certain parts, such as burrs, are not covered under warranty due to their consumable nature.
Consumer Rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, if the product is defective or not of acceptable quality, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund.
Warranty Coverage
The 1-year manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use. It does not cover:
- Burrs or other consumable parts, which naturally wear out over time.
- Damage caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications, or improper maintenance.
- Issues arising from the product being used outside the specified guidelines or for purposes other than home use.
Warranty Claims
If you believe your product is defective, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:

- Your order number
- The product you are having issues with
- A description of the problem you are experiencing
- We may offer remote troubleshooting support to help resolve common issues. Please note that not all problems that persist despite troubleshooting indicate a manufacturer defect. While performance issues may indicate a manufacturer defect, they can also arise from incorrect use or factors.
- We will authorize a warranty claim and provide you with shipping instructions.
- The product will be inspected and tested to confirm whether the issue is covered under the warranty.
Please note that any costs associated with returning the product for inspection will be covered by us if the product is confirmed to be defective. If the issue is determined to be due to misuse or not covered under warranty, you may be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Return and Remedy Process
If your product is found to be defective, we will provide a remedy under the ACL, which may include:
- A repair of the faulty product
- A replacement if the product cannot be repaired
- A refund if a repair or replacement is not feasible
